About Us
Obsydian Metal Products Ltd, is a family based business with many years experience in the iron industry.
Obsydian Metal is run by Justin and Lorraine Taylor. Justin Taylor is responsible for the fabrication of all our products, whilst Lorraine is busy creating our Obsydian Metal range. Both are dedicated to producing quality products that are built to last.
For many many years we have been fabricating wrought iron style gates, railings and handrails, initially locally, then since 2007, nationally.
As the years have passed we have added further lines, like our ever expanding handrail range which now dominates this website and scaled back our gate and railing fabrication.
Every product on our website is designed and fabricated by us in our UK based workshop.
It is our aim to only fabricate products to last and as such all our products come with a two year guarantee against faulty workmanship, although we cannot guarantee against rust.
As a small family run business we are always busy. Should our phone go to answerphone, please do leave us a short message and we will call you back as soon as we can.
We always welcome visitors to our workshop, unfortunately we do not have a showroom but there is nearly always something that we are in the middle of fabricating or have just finished fabricating that you can take a look at. There are also plenty of fascinating machinery to watch, most of which has been built or heavily modified by Justin.
